One time I was chillin on some gun forums, some guy was posting about a fishing story where he fell out of the boat near the shore , also dropped his fishing box and clothes, etc, then had an unhappy camping trip with less stuff. I think I may have called him a ‘pussy’ at some point in my response, and also mentioned something about diving and/or using the fishing pole he still had to catch his stuff in estimated near shore shallow water
near that time I got banned, for being unrealistically tough and therefore lying or something, also calling people vaginas for falling out of boats and /or clamiing sharpening a knife blank and screwing handles into it isn’t the same as carving one from sheet stock or casting one in metal, or even shaping any parts
also the moderator was selling hand made knives (was apparently volunteer to another site) in the knife subsection, I posted a photo of one of my early butter knife grinds, and claimed something about casting, welding, stock, type of metal, and budk.com selling much thicker nicer knives from modern metals for $5 for that one in stainless and posting a link under his $350 or $950 knife that he screwed together and bought online probably over $5
also the fishing guy was all like maybe you shouldn’t ban that guy since I also had a tourst-style oversized dull hook that woulda worked really good, or possibly diving in the kinda murkey water with plants would have also been a good idea in hindsight before losing track of where.
